My clinical interests are as follows:

Upper and lower GI endoscopy (OGD / colonoscopy). I am a member of the National Joint Advisory Group on Gastrointestinal Endoscopy (JAG)
Open surgery: Colonic resections, proctology including haemorrhoidectomy (Milligan Morgan, stapled and HALO), fistula and fissure surgery, hernia repairs and general surgical procedures (including excision of skin and subcutaneous lesions, node biopsies, Zadek's procedure for ingrowing toenails etc.)
Laparoscopic surgery: Cholecystectomy, hernia repairs, colonic resections, appendicectomy, ventral mesh rectopexy for internal and external rectal prolapsed.
Faecal incontinence: I have a special interest in this area and am a national leader in the use of Sacral Nerve Stimulation for faecal incontinence resistant to conservative measures.
