I was appointed to the substantive post at Epsom & St Helier University Hospitals NHS Trust in July 2009.

I trained in Glasgow (The Royal Infirmary) and in South West Thames (St George’s).

I am the clinical lead for acute gynaecology (including EPAU) at St Helier Hospital and also lead clinician for risk at the St Helier site.
In addition to general gynaecology I have special interests in :

• Gynaecological U/S Scanning.
• Minimal access surgery: Laparoscopic and Hysteroscopic.
• Fibroid management.
• Colposcopy.
• Vaginal surgery.

I am a member of the British Society of Gynaecological Endoscopy (BSGE) and British Society of Colposcopists and Cervical Pathologists (BSCCP).

Conditions treated: Cervical, vulval, endometrial and ovarian pre-cancer. Menorrhagia (heavy periods), fibroids, Endometriosis, prolapse, ovarian cysts, Polyps, menopause.

Procedures performed: Abdominal & Transvaginal U/S scanning, Colposcopy, loop excision of cervix for pre-cancer, vulvoscopy, out patient hysteroscopy, and Minimal Access Surgery, endometrial ablation, oophorectomy, myomectomy, abdominal hysterectomy, vaginal hysterectomy and anterior/posterior repair.

Miss Nadim is a consultant Obstetrician and gynaecologist working at East Surrey Hospitals and Crawley. Her training in Obstetrics and Gynaecology took place at Chelsea and Westminster Hospital, The Heartland Teaching Hospital in Birmingham, West Middlesex Hospital.

She also spent two years in research at The Royal London and St Bartholomew’s Hospitals in Reproductive Medicine. During the same period Miss Nadim was also the doctor in charge at The Assisted Conception Unit at Queen Mary’s university hospital in Roehampton.

 Miss Nadim is also accredited by the Bristish society of colposcopy and cervical pathology and has a regular colposcopy session at Crawley hospital.

Miss Nadim is highly experienced in Transvaginal ultrasound scanning, her work at Surrey and Sussex Healthcare NHS Trust reflect her interest which cover all aspect of the menstrual cycle irregularities, pelvic pain, and vaginal prolapse.

Professional career:
Mr Demetri Panayi has completed training in obstetrics and gynaecology in south thames and subspeciality training in urogynaecology at Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust. He has an interest in the investigation and treatment of pelvic floor disorders to a tertiary level. He has published widely in international journals and presented at international meetings.
