The Road to Recovery. On 24th March 2012, the life of Nigel Barclay, a local resident from Banstead, was changed dramatically. Whilst riding home he was knocked off his bike by a car. The accident was serious and he was immediately taken to St. George’s Hospital, Tooting, where he spent 12 days in intensive care.
